Collection: Clutter Collection Autumn/Winter 2022

Clutter Collection

Feeling overwhelmed by fast-changing trends and products that lack individuality?

The Clutter Collection was created for people who appreciate texture, character and thoughtful design. Inspired by the visual complexity, markings and layers found in everyday surroundings, these original patterns bring interest and depth to interiors, fashion and accessories .

Unlike mass-produced designs, every pattern begins as original artwork developed through observation, experimentation and refinement.

If you're looking for pieces that feel distinctive without chasing trends, the Clutter Collection offers a more personal way to express your style.

My promise: To create original, design-led products that help you surround yourself with items that feel considered, individual and meaningful.

Over the last few years I have had to deal with swathes of clutter in my home life. I began an extension, a renovation and repair work all over that time period. The worst and most cluttered part of all the experiences was the renovation work, due to the lack of storage space rooms had to develop multipurposed functions and storage while the renovation was in progress. Delays due to Covid lockdowns, negative tradespeople experiences and other demands on my time slowed down the completion of tidying and organising new storage spaces.

However, clutter became smaller as the renovation plodded towards completion and baskets of displaced clutter and misplaced household items such as clothes, toiletries, cables, etc formed their own islands of mess and commotion. I was searching for an idea about what my next collection might be about and gradually began to really look at the clutter by photographing it and identifying images, shapes, form and colour that eventually led to the completion of my Autumn Winter 2022 Collection - The Clutter Collection - with each design being named with a title that relates to mess, clutter or disorganisation in some way.

I hope you enjoy viewing, and hopefully purchasing products from, The Clutter Collection 2022.
